Meet Jasper
Finally, as promised.
Let's meet one of Israfil's friends: Jasper.
Jasper and Israfil have never really worked together, and they're not exactly close, but they're not strangers, either. She technically knows her way around an exorcism, but her "real" job is in construction. Which is a little more reliable work than Israfil's gigs.
Here she is casting a spell:
But you'd probably prefer to see what that looks like in motion. And she'd rather you see her in motion, honestly. She's a bouncy, energetic person...most of the time. We're not going to talk about the times when she isn't. She'd really rather we not go there.
Anyway, here it is:
Sigils and Principles
You can see here that her sorcery sigil has a square shape. That's her "core" sigil, and it's part of every spell she casts, no matter how elaborate the diagram ends up being. Israfil has one too, of course. Most sorcerers find it helps to incorporate some kind of consistent design into things that way. They tend to be geometric in nature, because it helps if they're quick and easy to draw, even under pressure.
Anyway, Jasper's sorcery is primarily focused on manipulating anything with a primarily mineral composition. Her card design reflects this skill-set:
Put simply, she can reshape stone, and some metals. This is obviously very helpful for her regular job, but it also comes in handy in a lot of potential battle environments.
In other words: She knows how to rock.
Right now you're either laughing...or will navigate away from this page immediately and never come back.
When you're done groaning, be sure to check out Jasper's theme song from the Stolen/Future OST. And stay tuned for more updates on the world, characters, and development progress of Stolen/Future!
