Today, I'd like to introduce the protagonist of Stolen/Future: Israfil.
Israfil is just your average guy. He lives in a cramped studio apartment: Israfil likes comics, video games, noodle dishes, and cats. And he pays the rent by working as a freelance professional exorcist--an "independent contractor"--with the nation's number one source for esoteric services, SpiritBoard. You can hire a friendly sorcerer for all kinds of things on SpiritBoard. "Magical" solutions to problems aren't always the most cost-effective; but you'd be shocked at how competitively-priced getting your house painted or your yard work done by somebody with sorcery skills can be. And when it comes to the whole "hauntings" issue, there aren't too many other places to get legitimate help. (Anyone who can pull off a real exorcism is a sorcerer...whether they want to call themselves one or not.) Unfortunately, Israfil is terrible at marketing himself. I mean, look at that profile. He clearly loves this job. Loves. It. Fortunately (well...sort of) business is really busy lately. The demand for exorcists has gone up. The number of people reporting spectres sighted in public or haunting their property has steadily increased every year for the last decade. So Israfil has plenty to do. He's lucky; basically sets his own hours. What more could you ask for? Of course, he doesn't get any health insurance benefits, there's no retirement plan, and his employer takes no responsibility for any on-the-job injuries. Plus, if a client ever complaints or rates him poorly, they take it out of his wages. On top of the cut they take for being magnanimous enough to find him clients in the first place, of course. Hmm. Maybe this job has some flaws. Why not find a better one? Stay tuned, and you'll find out next time.

Congratulations.
Israfill's presentation page turned out very good.
I like that you create these spaces where we can learn more about the world of stolen future.
Nice job!
=)
There he is, Israfil wearing his comicon-ish coat. I really had fun adapting the original design.
I love his personality, even though he gives off one of those vibes that say he loves his cats more than he likes people. And I can't blame him for it. I mean I could never have humanity in one hand and *cats* in the other, and not go with cats.
Also, that "employer" kinda rings a bell...
idk why i first read the title as "Stolen Furniture", but this is also pretty cool
Perhaps that's what I should do next. Like Untitled Goose Game, but all about stealing patio furniture from yuppies.
